More Fun in Michigan!

On Thursday, we visited a dairy, where you could just roam around, and see what ever suited your fancy! The dairy makes it's own dairy products, on the site.

D&D, enjoying ice cream, made on the site!

Ron & Jack, enjoying some home-made  ice cream, from happy cows!

A round barn, we came across.

This is a willow tree, in Ron & Jack's back yard. Neither  Decah, nor myself, have ever seen a willow tree, this big!

Another flower garden, in Frankenmuth.

We really enjoyed our visit to Michigan! We had dinner, one night with Heather, Jimmy, and new son Cameron. Got to see Matt, their son, brother Keith, and Ron's mom, Juanita. Had a great dance, where we saw many Valley friends! We're already planning our next visit!

Fun In Michigan

We journeyed on to Michigan, from Chicago, to visit our friends, Ron and Jackie. We arrived on July 4th, so a fireworks display, was in order! We enjoyed a fireworks display, in downtown Flint. Tuesday, we visited several local Harley shops, in the Flint area. One of our first stops was Rocky's, a renegade bike shop, in Burton. Rocky's was a very unique shop! It was a combination bike, and sporting goods shop. There was a lot of "yard art", made from bike parts. Below, is two robots made from chrome bike parts. These were two of the most unique art, we've ever seen!

Wednesday, we visited Frankenmuth, MI, a really cool, German town.

We really enjoyed our visit to Frankenmuth! Great scenery, great food, cold German beer, and the best of friends! Does it get any better?

Visit to Notre Dame

After leaving North Carolina, we journeyed to Dallas, where we attended Big D's class re-union. We had a great time visiting with classmates, some, we haven't seen since graduation! We spent a week calling in the San Antonio, Austin, and San Marcos area. Had some great dances, there! While in the area, we rode to Bandera, and spent a very relaxing day, there! We also took a float trip, down the San Marcos River. This float trip is a very relaxing trip! The San Marcos River is fed by an underground aquifer. The water is very cool, and the current carries you down the river, without any effort!
after departing Texas, we journeyed to Chicago, for a weekend of great dances. Upon completing our dances in Chicago, we journeyed to Michigan, to visit our friends, Ron, and Jackie. Along the way, we stopped in South Bend, IN to visit Notre Dame University. What a beautiful campus!
