While spending a week in Chicago, calling, we managed to spend a little time, playing tourists!
The above photo was taken on the Skydeck Ledge. The ledge is glass, that overhangs from the Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower). No longer the tallest building, in the world, but because of the radio towers, on the building, it is the tallest structure, in the world! The tower is 110 floors, 1,703 ft at the top of the twin antenna! It was really interesting!
Below, taken as we entered the Tower.
A view of Chicago, taken from the skyway.
Another view, from the Skyway.
Little D, at the Spirit of Chicago, on the Navy Pier.
Big D, at the ferris wheel, on the Navy Pier.
The sculpture, at Millennium Park.
This is a very interesting piece of art! A highly polished blue metal sphere.
A view from the opposite side of the sculpture.
