After a terrific series of dances at Lake Isabella, we journeyed to Traverse City, where we took in the sites! We spent the night with friends, who live on the Old Mission Peninsula. Great view of Lake Michigan!
As we left Al & Carol's, we rode to the end of the peninsula, to see the Old Mission lighthouse. Above is Crew!

Another view of the lock.
We all went to the lock at midnight, to see a freighter, over 1,000 feet long, negotiate the lock. Look close, and you can see how high the ship is in the lock.
Now, you can see the deck of the ship. Unbelievable, how far the freighter dropped, as it made it's way through the lock?
This was a terrific day of riding, and sightseeing! Did I mention how cool, the weather was?
