As we journeyed to Reno, we encountered several really cool towns! The photo, below, is a small town called Goldfield. It was an old gold mining town. Not much there, but old skeleton buildings.
Below, is Walker Lake. Not far out of Hawthorn, NV. You travel through the desert, and all of a sudden you see the lake. This is the only water source for the area.
